A talented and versatile novice writer (currently studying BA Language and Literature at UNISA and doing well ) that has a flair and passion for the written word, capturing your attention so that this space will soon bear your company name followed by a long list of more satisfied clients.
Publications Poort: National Institute for Science and Art (Namibia and South Africa) 1983 published three of my poems. (Youngest participant) Many more to follow soon..
Special Skills Perhaps my response to this heading may be a little unconventional, nevertheless I strongly believe these are some of my skills which attribute to making my writing special: 1.) a lateral thinker (and surrealist paint artist) able to approach a subject from anew bringing fresh considerations and interesting points of view, 2.) the ability to 'become'. In the same way that the true art of dancing is to become the dance, I immerse myself into a topic and the language used to convey the message, 3.) an almost literal taste for words and their combination to accurately communicate correct meaning in an aesthetic way, 4.) the ability to research a subject in depth but also to capture it's essence in a nutshell, 5.) highly organized and practical work approach, 6.) a fine eye for detail combined with a creative mind, 7.) the will and drive to succeed.
Additional Services Being a stylistic paint artist I can produce images and artwork to coincide with text.
AwardsAlthough a little off the topic, these awards are applicable to reflect the creative finesse within: 1.) First position in class in final high school year, also the youngest pupil in class. 2.) Award won for photography competition at school. 3.) Academy award won for Fashion Design. 4.) Honors for Advanced Royal Ballet examination and most of my grades. 5.) Artwork selected to represent our school in final exhibition and one painting printed on the program. Also high school award for best artwork won.
