I am currently 19 years old and will be a junior at OSU in Autumn '08. I began professional editing in Fall '06 when I joined Capital University's student news publication as a news editor. I quickly developed exceptional skills in editing for AP style, grammar and design. I soon became the Front Page Editor and after that was promoted to Chief Copy Editor and shared many duties with the Editor-in-Chief. As Chief Copy Editor I also wrote major news stories, columns, entertainment stories, and edited the Entertainment Section.

I was recently hired at The Lantern at The Ohio State University where I will be Copy Chief and copy edit every issue, manage a staff of copy editors, write editorials and write news stories.

I have also been an intern for The Other Paper, a newspaper in Columbus, Ohio, for the last six months. As an intern a write a variety of feature stories and help compile listings.

On the side, I have edited many miscellaneous pieces for friends and professors including personal letters, newsletters, literary papers and other scholarly papers.
