A regular freelancer for Christianity Today, Charisma, National Wildlife, NBIZ Magazine, Inland Empire Magazine and many more publications, I cover a wide variety of subjects ranging from faith and nature to Hollywood and business. I'm also a versatile and award-winning Los Angeles Daily News government and investigative reporter whose stories appear in eight Southern California newspapers with 600,000 circulation. I was featured as an investigative reporter in the McGraw-Hill book, "Careers For Puzzle-Solvers & Other Methodical Thinkers." During my career, I've won more than two dozen local, state and national writing awards. I was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and recently named the county's "Outstanding Fraud Reporter." I'm also available for speaking engagements.On a side note, I'm a descendant of English canon poet, philosopher and playwright Friedrich von Schiller who wrote "Ode to Joy" and other poems Ludwig van Beethoven set to music. During Napoleon's reign, he ran an underground newspaper that was highly critical of the French emperor. Napoleon ordered his execution, but he escaped France and took asylum with the Swedish royal family.
