I have been a full-time freelance writer for the last three years; before that I was a fully qualified college lecturer in Sociology, English and Creative Writing with a Masters Degree in Social Sciences.  I also had a substantial freelance writing and copy-editing/proofreading career alongside my teaching career. My success at writing and editing has enabled me to make the freelance writing, copy-editing and proofreading my sole career, so that dream is now my reality.

I have experience of writing in a wide variety of styles  – academic report writing; books and e-books, novels and short stories as well as articles on an informative but more informal style than traditional academic writing.
