Mark Pasetsky
Biography
Mark Pasetsky is the founder and CEO of Mark Allen & Company, a leading communications consulting firm. Pasetsky brings to his clients a unique combination of senior-level editorial and communications experience.
Most recently, Mark Pasetsky served as editor-in-chief of Life & Style Weekly, the first celebrity style weekly. Under his leadership, the magazine’s sales increased on the newsstand by seven percent during the first half of 2007.
Prior to serving as editor-in-chief, Mark Pasetsky was the magazine’s general manager, where he was responsible for overseeing the magazine’s national launch and developing the cover for the magazine on a weekly basis. Under Pasetsky’s leadership, Life & Style was named the 2004 Magazine Launch of the Year and became the fastest growing magazine in the country.
During Mark Pasetsky’s tenure at Bauer Publishing, he also served as vice president and was responsible for overseeing corporate and consumer media relations as well as event management.
Prior, Mark Pasetsky launched and served as CEO of Mark Allen & Company, where he first began working with Bauer Publishing and was responsible for the successful public relations launch of Bauer's In Touch Weekly. In addition, Pasetsky provided communications counsel to leading entertainment companies including Infinity Broadcasting (now CBS Radio), Logo TV and others.
Previously, Mark Pasetsky served as vice president of communications for MTV Networks' online divisions, which included MTV.com, VH1.com and Nick.com. Before, Mark Pasetsky provided public relations counsel to a variety of Internet based clients including the TheStreet.com, BMG and CDnow while at public relations firm Middleberg Associates.
Mark Pasetsky is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he earned a B.A. in Journalism.
