What's a greater satisfaction, to be promoted and be the boss, or to employ someone?

I feel so so GOOD! When I graduated from college at 22, I got a job as an accountant. I worked very very hard for 2 years, and I never got a raise or a promotion. After quitting at 24, I became self-employed, I began doing freelance accounting jobs. At 25, I had one of my biggest career satisfactions, I rented my own office. For some people it's actually a greater accomplishment for some company to give you an office, but I was happy.Now at 27, I've just moved into a bigger office, and now I'm doing something new. I'm interviewing people. I rented a bigger office with a desk ready for my very first employee. I'm going to hire an accountant to work for me.For some people this is not a big deal because they've interviewed and hired people since age 22. But I think it is a big deal because I'm hiring the person out of my own money. But on the other hand, when I look back, I realize, no one ever believed in me to be given more responsibilities, so that kinda makes me sad.What's better, for someone to place their trust on you and give you an office, or you reting an office by yourself?What's better, for someone to trust you to give you people working under you, or for you to hire them yourself?
